MESA, AZ (Oct. 27, 2014) – Able Aerospace Services, a leading MRO service and FAA approved PMA parts provider, has been awarded three separate five-year contracts worth more than $9 million by the United States Air Force.

The Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts directly support the Air Force’s KC-135 Stratotanker weapon system by providing remanufactured flap drive ballscrew transmission assemblies.

“The Stratotanker is an integral part of the United States’ ability to extend airpower worldwide,” said Mark McNatt, Director of Business Development for Able Aerospace Services. “As budgets diminish, it becomes increasingly important to seek new and economical solutions that keep America’s critical fleets in the air – operating at their most efficient utilization rate and for as long as possible. Able Aerospace Services consistently provides these solutions.”
