Component Control's 'Contact Manager Module' Improves Efficiency and Data Accuracy

ATLANTA, GA, April 15, 2013 – Component Control announced today that its new Contact Manager module, version 10.1, for Quantum Control™ MRO and logistics software is available to the market. The new Contact Manager module is part of Component Control’s strategy to increase consolidation of key business information within the Quantum database for better workflow management and key process reporting.  This eliminates the need to use additional and disparate CRM, Customer Relationship Management, software with Quantum in order to manage customer data.

The success of Quantum’s Contact Manager module is its complete integration with all other Quantum modules at a customer site.  Contact Manager enables users to track every customer interaction and event from sales activity, repair management, customer contact and support, A/R collection, and internal issue management.  

Specific enhancements of the new Contact Manager include tighter integration with Microsoft Outlook to simplify data collection for contact records held within Quantum.  Using intuitive native drag and drop capabilities found in traditional Microsoft Office programs, users now can quickly pull email from Outlook directly into a Contact Manager Record to assemble the contact history, or use the content within Outlook to quickly build new contact records or establish new support records.

The Contact Manager is a highly configurable CRM (Customer Relations Management) tool that is seamlessly integrated with Quantum Control's entire suite of modules. Contact Manager enhances a user’s ability to track critical activity such as Sales, A/R, Repair Management and Customer Service calls while capturing all interaction during the process.

In addition to tighter Outlook integration, Contact Manager’s search capability has also been improved to include searching for contacts that are linked to PN’s and user defined fields directly from the main search screen.
