Change Is Inevitable and Exciting

AMT moves into 2019 with several staff changes

Over the past year, our publishing company has gone through several changes – all good ones. The company has grown with the purchase of additional B2B titles, including another aviation-related property. Along with all the changes, came another company name change last year to Endeavor Business Media.

Missy Zingsheim, long-time publisher of our sister aviation titles Airport Business and Ground Support Worldwide, is now also publisher for Aircraft Maintenance Technology - AMT.

Walker Jaroch joined the aviation group in January of this year as assistant editor on all three aviation publications: AMT, Ground Support Worldwide, and Airport Business. His services have been shared within the entire AviationPros family and his article is this issue's cover story.

Jennifer Wilberschied just recently started at the company as editor on Aircraft Maintenance Technology. Jennifer has worked in B2B media for some 10 years, both within the Printing News Group at Endeavor, and Simmons-Boardman Publishing’s Railway Track & Structures. We are thrilled to have Jennifer bring her perspectives to AMT.

The biggest news for AMT this year is long-time AMT editor Barb Zuehlke has decided to retire after 40 years with the company. The majority of her time at Endeavor was involved with AMT, which this year celebrates 30 years of publication. I joke with Barb about how she turned an airplane guy (me), into a media person. Barb will be missed by all. (She says farewell on Page 48.)

And finally, there’s me. I will remain as the chief editor of AMT and very much look forward to working with all of the new editorial staff within the aviation group. Jennifer and I will continue to provide the type of quality articles our readers have been accustomed to for all these decades.

Keep ‘em flying safely!
