BizJet International Sales and Support, Inc. announces Thomas Illner joined BizJet as the new president & CEO on July 1, 2021. Illner is succeeding Volker Magunna, who has accepted a position within the Lufthansa Technik group as the president of Hawker Pacific.
Illner has been with the Lufthansa Technik Group since 2008. He has served engine customers in various positions for Lufthansa Technik. His roles have included working in account management for engine customers. He has been head of key account management for engine customers and head of product line for aircraft engines, where he oversaw commercial and technical production management for engine events. His most recent role was head of product sales for aircraft engines, where he specialized in sales and marketing and business development. Prior to joining Lufthansa Technik, Illner was an industrial engineer.
