AOPA N. Macedonia and AOPA Nigeria, Newest IAOPA Affiliates

FREDERICK, Md. – December 20, 2019—The Board of the International Council of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (IAOPA) has approved full membership for AOPA North Macedonia and AOPA Nigeria. The two additional IAOPA Affiliates brings the total number of member countries to 81.

AOPA North Macedonia is headquartered in Chucher Sandevo, Republic of North Macedonia and is already 100 members strong. Mr. Predrag Chemerikikj was elected as the first President of the new organization.

AOPA Nigeria is located in Lagos, Nigeria and is currently led by Mr. Alex Nwuba who has had a distinguished career as an aviation pioneer in Africa. AOPA Nigeria is currently in the process of forming the Board and will then begin recruiting members.
