Six Truckee Plane Crash Victims Formally Identified

Aug. 4—Formal identification was made on Wednesday of the six victims of the July 26 crash of a private jet that was attempting to land at the Truckee airport, the Nevada County sheriff's office announced.

The victims were identified as Alberto Montero De Collado De La Rosa, 43, of Mexico, ; Ryan Thomas, 38, of La Quinta ( Riverside County); Christine Thomas, 33, of La Quinta; Thomas Ebaugh, 56, of Lakeville, Minn.; Kevin Kvarnlov, 34, of Mendota Heights, Minn.; and John Dunn, 62, of Dallas.

Several of the victims were previously identified unofficially by family members and others.

The private jet, which had taken off from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, crashed near a golf course as it was attempting to land at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport. There were no survivors.

Ebaugh and De La Rosa were the pilots.
