April 12, 2013 – Aviation Training Academy, “The new standard in Flightline training” has announced that in addition to their “live” seminars, the Federal Aviation Administration has listed their On-Line training curriculum for both the Line Service Supervisor and the Line Service Technician training as “Authorized by the Administrator” in accordance with the requirements of 14 CFR 139.
At all designated and certificated 14 CFR 139 airports, Fueling Agents are required to ensure initial and recurrent training for all those storing, dispensing and otherwise handling fuel on the airport. “This authorization by the FAA Administrator will allow FBO’s and Corporate operators with their own fuel farms, to train their personnel On-Line, without travel costs and at their own pace,” stated Walter P. Chartrand long time “World Class” industry trainer and partner at Aviation Training Academy (ATA). This is the most comprehensive training available in the marketplace.
"With ATA there are no Annual Membership Fees and no Annual Participation Dues.” commented DeborahAnn Cavalcante VP of Programs and Development for ATA. "Our customers realize their greatest asset is their employees, and believe as we do in the “Train to Retain” concept. Many of them use ATA to further develop their frontline employees by supplementing their fuel handling training with Customer Service Excellence training. The new 14 CFR 139 courses combine the required re-current training with enhanced material and topics, delivered with a new twist.”
"Let’s face it, in today’s marketplace, many fueling operations are working with a lean staff and cannot afford their key personnel away from the job for several days, with ATA’s approval by the FAA, we are able to bring our fun, yet informative training right to their computer.” quipped David M. Ware Chief Operations Officer for ATA. “And since not everyone is crazy about Computer Based Training (CBT) we still offer live seminars and even “sight specific” on property training.”
