Alignment

Feb. 19, 2014
Alignment is the element that turns a group of athletes into a winning team, or a company full of different personalities into a competitive, high performance team.

Alignment (or one-pageness) is the factor that drives emotional involvement and personal investment in the success of the organization. Alignment can only occur when the Mission, Vision and Values are aligned up, down and across the organization, and when every person in the organization agrees with, and supports, the statements made in the Mission, Vision and Values. Alignment is the element that turns a group of athletes into a winning team, or a company full of different personalities into a competitive, high performance team.

Alignment creates a competitive advantage for any airport, flight department, charter management company, FBO, OEM or service center caterer, that stands to perform better with higher productivity from its staff. Taken one step further, alignment between the organization and its suppliers, business partners and customers creates a wonderfully powerful and efficient machine that drives relentlessly toward attaining the common vision and goal.
