Turkish Airlines has opened a lounge in Terminal 1 of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Operating three daily flights from JFK, Turkish Airlines will now offer its New York-area passengers lounge amenities synonymous with the brand’s comfort and hospitality in the newly renovated and rebranded space.
The new Turkish Airlines lounge is located just past the security checkpoint between gate 2 and gate 3 in terminal 1. At approximately 4,600 square-feet, the space accommodates up to 140 people with a variety of table and lounge seating for passengers, featuring dark wood finishes and mid-century inspired décor. Large windows facing the runway provide ample natural light and touches of greenery brighten the space. A prayer room is also available within the lounge.
Featuring the famous flavors of Turkish cuisine, passengers can enjoy three meals a day including breakfast, lunch and dinner served uninterruptedly. The menu features hot meal options including soup, as well as cold foods and appetizers, a variety of desserts and hot and cold soft drink alternatives. All meals are prepared in halal standards and kosher alternatives are also available.

Turkish Airlines’ JFK lounge is the airline’s third U.S. facility in addition to Miami International Airport (MIA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). The lounge is accessible to Turkish Airlines' Business Class guests and Elite/Elite Plus members, as well as Star Alliance Airlines' First, Business Class guests and Gold card members flying on any Star Alliance Airlines. Limited access is available to family members and guests of Elite/Elite Plus/Gold members and pay-per-use passengers. The Turkish Airlines lounge is open daily between 9 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. Closing time may vary based on the estimated departure time of the last Turkish Airlines flight of the day.
