Solair Extends Business With Strategic Acquisition of JetMac

February 13th, 2018 / Miami, FL Solair Group LLC, the leading global provider of maintenance tooling and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) products, services and solutions to the aerospace industry, announced that they have acquired Dallas based GSE manufacturer JetMac. For more than 50 years, JetMac has manufactured jacks, general aviation hydraulic power units and fluid dispensers to serve the commercial, corporate, military and rotary aircraft markets. The acquisition will provide customers with an expanded product & service offering, quicker turn-around times and an elevated level of service.

Together, JetMac and Solair Group will design, manufacture and distribute tripod and axle jacks ranging in size from 5 ton to 120 ton capacity suitable for nose, tail and wing applications. Solair will become the OEM manufacturer of the JetMac product line including the hydraulic power units and fluid dispensers. In addition, Solair will offer repairs and calibrations for all brands of jacks in the marketplace.

The JetMac and Solair Group brands will be merged and marketed as Solair Group, LLC. It will continue to deliver all existing product lines and services while enhancing its marketing to better position the company for faster domestic and international growth. After the acquisition, Solair Group will operate two manufacturing facilities, totaling nearly 35,000 sq.ft., in the Dallas, Texas and Miami, Florida areas.
