People News: Elliott Names Jude Zimmerman Completions Sales Manager

The 48,000-square-foot Elliott Aviation Completion Center at Quad Cities features a state-of-the-art 5,600-square-foot downdraft paint bay.

MOLINE, Ill., May 11, 2006 --- Elliott Aviation today announced that Jude Zimmerman has been named completions sales manager for the Moline, Ill.-based aviation services company. Zimmerman, is responsible for promoting the capabilities of Elliott's $6 million Completion Center at Quad Cities International Airport (MLI).

Opened in 2003, the 48,000-square-foot Elliott Aviation Completion Center features a state-of-the-art 5,600-square-foot downdraft paint bay capable of handling medium jet aircraft up to the Hawker Horizon and Citation X, and an 8,000-square-foot interior and cabinet shop.

Danny Ball has joined Elliott Aviation from Bombardier-Tucson to take over Zimmerman's former position as interiors manager. Kirk Wood will continue as manager of Elliott's paint facility.

Since joining Elliott Aviation in 2005, Zimmerman has been instrumental in developing a number of innovative completion and refurbishment projects for Elliott Aviation customers, including the installation of a new King Air 300 series interior in an older model King Air B200 and the complete refurbishment of five Hawker 1000 aircraft, along with numerous other Falcon, Citation and Beechjet aircraft.

Zimmerman has more than 30 years' experience in corporate aviation, including 17 years as interior and cabinet shop manager at Raytheon Aircraft Services in Houston and San Antonio.
