April traffic statistics released by Mesa Air Group

Mesa Air Group Inc (Nasdaq: MESA) has issued preliminary traffic figures for April 2007.

The group operates as Delta Connection, US Airways Express and United Express and also operates independently as Mesa Airlines and go!, a Hawaiian carrier.

Mesa said that its revenue passenger miles for April increased by 3.9% year-on-year, while available seat miles (capacity) increased by 3.4%. The load factor was 78.7%, up 0.4 percentage points from 78.3% in April 2006.

During April the group's services carried 1,445,865 passengers, an increase of 14.6% from 1,261,605 in April 2006.

go! recorded a load factor of 62.8% and carried 55,647 passengers in April.
