Danish airport operator Copenhagen Airports A/S said on Tuesday (5 June) that it has sold its entire shareholding of 20% in the listed Chinese company Hainan Meilan International Airport Company (HMA) to Oriental Patron Resources Investment Limited, British Virgin Islands.
The total consideration was valued at DKK384m.
The company said that the proceeds will primarily be used to repay debt and fund future capital expenditure in Copenhagen Airport.
Copenhagen Airports A/S is the listed company that owns and operates the airports at Kastrup and Roskilde in Denmark. The company is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Copenhagen.
One British pound (£) is worth approximately 10.99 Danish kroner (DKK).
