J&B Aviation has patented the replaceable contact sections for 400Hz cables. Prolong the life of your cables by replacing the worn contact section. Each of the J&B Aviation replacement contact sections is constructed as one assembly with four (4) new sealing screws, instructions and the necessary tool for easy installation to our existing J&B cables. All replacement contact sections are molded of the highest quality Poly Chloroprene for durability in all ramp conditions.
The High Visibility Replacement Contact section-Yellow- JB7174, was brought to market in 1996. The JB7174 is used on all cables that begin with JB88, JB85, JB86, JB87 and JB95, SNJ and the JB5100 series of Field Replacement connectors. Sample: JB9518-100NJ.
