Airlines for America (A4A) published 'Bulletin 2019.1 Updated ATA103 Requirements for Filter Monitors.'
It explains that when ATA103 revision 2019.1 is released, it will include a requirement for filter monitors to comply with EI 1583 7th Edition standards. This will remain the case after the withdrawal of EI 1983.
The bulletin notes this is an interim decision, and adds that filter monitors will be phased out of ATA103.
