Baggage Handler Shortage Causes Delays at Malaysia Airport
Several flights were delayed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport late last week due to a shortage of baggage handlers.
According to a report from The Star, the issue began Friday morning when multiple handlers did not report to work.
It was reported that changes to the work schedule of AeroDarat Services, the ground handling services company that was responsible for luggage services for more than 30 airlines at the airport, was the cause for the manpower shortage.
While approximately 50 flights were delayed, it was reported the situation was resolved by noon.
