Finnair Cargo Appoints Swissport as New Terminal Operator at the COOL Nordic Cargo Hub in Helsinki

Finnair’s state-of-the-art COOL Nordic Cargo hub terminal has been in full operation for over a year now, and with operations in the terminal now fully stabilized Finnair Cargo aims to shift focus to network-wide data-driven operational excellence.

Helsinki, May 17, 2019 - Finnair Cargo has appointed Swissport as the terminal operator at the COOL Nordic Cargo Hub at Helsinki Airport. Swissport takes over the running of COOL terminal operations from June 1, 2019.

According to Janne Tarvainen, Finnair Cargo Managing Director, Swissport offers the most competitive overall package to further develop Finnair’s cargo operations:
