Menzies Aviation Secures Multiple Contract Wins and Renewals Across European Operations

Menzies Aviation announces contract wins and renewals at stations in Sweden, Norway, Romania and Amsterdam.

10 December 2019, EDINBURGH: Menzies Aviation, the global aviation logistics specialist, today announces contract wins and renewals at stations in Sweden, Norway, Romania and Amsterdam.

Sweden

There has been a raft of contract renewals at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Sweden, where a team of Menzies professionals deliver a full suite of ground handling to a number of airline partners. Menzies has extended its agreement to deliver full ground handling services to easyJet, while Air France KLM and Turkish Airlines have renewed their ground handling contracts at both Arlanda Airport and Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport for three and five years, respectively.

Norway

At Oslo Airport in Norway, Menzies has secured a new five-year contract with Eurowings, which will see the delivery of full ground handling services. Menzies is already the partner of choice for Eurowings at multiple airports, including London Heathrow, Amsterdam and Windhoek.

Romania

In Romania, Wizz Air has renewed its contract at lași International Airport for an additional three years, where Menzies delivers full ground handling services including de-icing. Lufthansa has renewed its contract at Timisoara Traian Vuia International Airport for a further three years, where Menzies also provides passenger handling. An important win for the station in Timisoara is also the successful start of a three year contract of full ground handling services for FedEx.

Netherlands

At Amsterdam Airport, Menzies has secured a new contract for two years with Air Astana, which will see the delivery of full ground handling services including de-icing.
