According to a report from the Hindustan Times, a suspension on Air India Express flights to Dubai was withdrawn Friday, just hours after it was imposed.
The original suspension would have barred Air India Express flight to Dubai until Oct. 2, after Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) officials discovered passengers that tested positive for COVID-19 were flown from India to Dubai on two separate occasions, according to a report from Times of India.
The Hindustan Times report indicates that Air India Express officials assured the DCAA that the ground handling agencies involved have since taken appropriate punitive action against their employees who have been held accountable for the lapse at Delhi and Jaipur.
