Luton Airport to Face Disruption as Wizz Air Ground Handlers Strike Adds to Summer Travel Misery

A work stoppage at London Luton Airport planned by employees at GH London Ground Handling Services Ltd is scheduled for Aug. 30, Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, amid a dispute over pay and conditions.

Summer holidaymakers have been warned of severe travel disruption at Luton airport as ground handlers working for Wizz Air announce strike action.

It’s the second airport to be hit by industrial action this month, with ground handlers at Gatwick Airport beginning several days of strike action on Friday affecting thousands of passengers.
