    A pilot called the police after being stuck on the tarmac at Manchester Airport for more than three hours because of a light dusting of snow.

    According to reports from passengers on board the Germanwings flight to Hamburg, it was delayed because the plane needed to be ‘de-iced’ by a special vehicle at the airport.
