SANFORD, FLORIDA – Advanced Composite Structures Florida (ACSF) has received US Army Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) Approval (formerly known as US Army AED Approval) for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of Sikorsky UH-60 A/L Main Rotor Blades.  This Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Approval is applicable to UH-60A/L Main Rotor Blade with Part Number 70150-09100-041/-043 and NSN 1615-01-074-5150/1615-01-106-1903.

The UH-60A/L Main Rotor Blade SRD Approval is in addition to previously issued US Army AED Approvals for the UH-60 A/L Blackhawk Tail Rotor Blades, AH-64 Apache Main Rotor Blades.

With official US Army SRD & AED Approvals, ACS is now positioned to serve all global operators of UH-60A/L helicopters operating for Restricted Category, Governmental, Public Use and Foreign Military customers. Additionally, Foreign Military customers requiring SRD Approval may now send UH-60A/L rotor blades to ACSF for maintenance, repair and overhaul.

“The UH-60 Blackhawk is becoming the ‘go-to’ helicopter for Restricted Category, Public Use and similar operations throughout the world. ACSF has positioned itself to be the world leader in Blackhawk rotor blade” said Jeff Small, president of ASCF. “Many UH-60 Foreign Military operators have also approached us in the last few years needing an alternate means of rotor blade support. Now, we can support those customers who require US Army Approval before sending rotor blades for repair”.

The UH-60A/L Main Rotor Blade Approval, along with recent facilities expansion and EASA Certification, position ACSF to be the world’s largest and most comprehensive independent helicopter rotor blade repair facility

“Our business has grown tremendously the past two years due to the UH-60 Main Rotor Blade” said Small. “Good pricing and turn-around times are critical to these operators and we can now promise this to every UH-60 operator in the world”
