May 16, 2016 TUKWILA, WA. PPI Technical Services has negotiated a contract to train Etihad Advanced Integrated Solutions (AIS) C-130 maintenance personnel on repair techniques and procedures of the 54H60 propeller propulsion systems on the United Arab Emirates fleet of C-130 Hercules military aircraft. The five-day training session will include blade Teflon replacement, propeller static balancing, and propeller blade heater replacement. These repair techniques are critical to the safe operation of the 54H60 propeller propulsion system.
This contract is especially important to both parties as it is the first training contract PPI Technical Services has executed within the Middle East. It is important to Etihad AIS as they can expand their training and consultation services throughout their base of UAE customers and clients operating Lockheed C-130 aircraft. Training will only be conducted in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
