Oxygen, essential for human life, is abundant at ground level but diminishes as flight levels increase, necessitating the requirement for supplemental oxygen in the upper flight regimes.

Shaw Aerox is a U.S. manufacturer offering a complete line of FAA Approved TSO-C103 continuous flow oxygen masks such as the 4110-711 and 4110-712 series and FAA TSO-C78A and TSO-C89A approved, quick donning, diluter demand style oxygen masks like the 4110-725 Series.

Diluter demand masks from Shaw Aerox flow oxygen when a user inhales, or demands it, and allows outside air to be mixed with the flow of oxygen.  Operated in this way, the Shaw Aerox diluter demand masks can safely and effectively reduce the amount of oxygen used in flight, allowing the oxygen supply to last longer.

The Shaw Aerox Quick Donning Diluter Demand (4110-725) Series mask is designed to be used by crew and passengers in the general aviation industry up to an altitude of 40,000 feet MSL.

Key features of the Shaw Aerox 4110-725 aviation masks include:

 -          Inflatable Quick Comfort head harness provides maximum comfort and fast donning.

-          Soft silicon rubber for excellent face seal capabilities.

-          Built in electret microphone.

-          Lightweight and durable carbon-fiber construction.

-          Approved by the FAA to meet TSO-C78A (flow rate) and TSO-C89A requirements.

-          Customized to fit most aircraft and portable system outlets.

-          Available carbon fiber storage cup.

In addition, Shaw Aerox portable prO2-2 and prO2-4, Personal Emergency O2 Systems provide take anywhere convenience and safety at a reasonable cost.   This system is designed to provide oxygen based on a cabin pressure of 25,000 feet and will flow at this set rate for 17 minutes, so that you have time to get down to a safe altitude where you can breathe normally under the conditions. Simple to use when needed, just pull the mask and don. The motion of pulling the mask pulls a cable that initiates the flow of oxygen.  The prO2 systems come standard with aluminum DOT 3AL cylinders that have no life limits and require recertification every 5 years.
