G1000 NXi Upgrade for the Embraer Phenom 100

Garmin International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd., announced certification of the G1000 NXi integrated flight deck upgrade for Embraer’s Phenom 100 business jets equipped with the Prodigy Flight Deck. The G1000 NXi offers these aircraft owners and operators an array of modern features, including wireless connectivity, SurfaceWatch runway monitoring technology, visual approach guidance, HSI map and more. The displays also preserve the same footprint and connectors so time to complete the G1000 NXi upgrade is minimized.

Features include: 

• With the G1000 NXi in the Phenom 100, aircraft owners and operators receive a wealth of new features, innovative capabilities and added utility all within a modern flight deck
• Flight Stream 510 and Connext technology within the G1000 NXi integrated flight deck enables wireless database transfer, two-way flight plan transfer and more
• Additional features include visual approach guidance, SurfaceWatch, map overlay within the HSI, split-screen view on the MFD, as well as the option to view sectional charts and IFR low/high enroute charts on the flight display
• G1000 NXi also supports the display of ADS-B In traffic and FIS-B weather
• Aircraft owners and operators can easily upgrade to the G1000 NXi with minimal aircraft downtime and disruption of the panel
• The G1000 NXi upgrade for the Phenom 100 is available immediately through select Garmin dealers and Embraer Service Centers.
