Orolia Launches Aviation ELT Exchange Program for Lithium Battery Compliance

Orolia, the world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) solutions, has launched an exchange program for aircraft operators to meet new EASA/FAA requirements for non-rechargeable lithium batteries in portable Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTs).

Orolia’s Ultima-S portable ELT is now available for seamless, rapid integration to increase aviation safety and ensure compliance with EASA/FAA requirements.

This portable ELT exchange program includes a variety of Ultima-S configurations that are compatible with major aircraft manufacturer programs. It is available worldwide to any aircraft operator that is still flying with a DO-227A non-compliant beacon.
