Hawaiian Airlines Announces Daily Sacramento Nonstop Service to Maui

July 2, 2018

Hawaiian Airlines (HA) announced plans to begin daily nonstop service between Sacramento (SMF) and Maui (OGG) beginning April 1.

Maui service complements Hawaiian’s existing daily service to Honolulu (HNL).  Service will be offered by a new 189-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft which includes 16 premium-class seats.

“West Coast travelers love Hawai‘i just as much as we do, which is why we’re thrilled to offer the convenience of flying straight to Maui amidst the comfort of our signature, award-winning hospitality,” said Brent Overbeek, senior vice president of revenue management and network planning at Hawaiian Airlines.

"We are pleased with Hawaiian Airlines' decision to launch daily nonstop SMF - Maui service beginning in April 2019. This service addition is a testament to the growth of the Hawaii market from Sacramento as well as the popularity of Maui as a destination for Sacramento-area travelers," said Mark Haneke, air service development marketing manager with the Sacramento County Department of Airports.
