DETROIT, MI -- Detroit Metropolitan Airport on Wednesday announced it will be laying off employees.
An email was sent to Wayne County Airport Authority employees, WYXZ Detroit reports.
The number of layoffs and separations has not been determined, Vice President of Communications Erica Donerson said.
“Most of our workforce is comprised of union employees and negotiations have not begun yet,” Donerson said.
