Tri-Cities Airport Seeks Public Input on New Master Plan

March 25, 2019

The Tri-Cities Airport is preparing a Master Plan to determine the next twenty years of airport development. This plan will consider how the Tri-Cities area has grown and is expected to continue growing. The development plan will position the airport to meet future demand through new and improved facilities. The Port of Pasco, owner of the Tri-Cities Airport, is looking for public input on the Master Plan as improvement concepts are developed. The March 27 meeting is one of two public meetings that will occur as part of the master planning process. The focus of this open house will include:

  • The airport’s existing facilities and capabilities
  • The 20-year aviation demand forecasts
  • The gap analysis, which shows what facilities will be needed
  • The initial development concepts for public review and comments

The meeting will be held in an open-house format and members of airport staff and the consultant team will be on hand to discuss ideas from the public and answer any questions.
