Norfolk International Airport (ORF) reported a 16.87 percent increase in scheduled and charter passenger activity for the month of January 2019 with 260,055 passengers. This figure compares to a January 2018 passenger count of 222,521.
In other activity, 5,517,579 pounds of cargo were shipped in and out of the airport during January 2019. This represents a 17.37 percent increase versus January 2018, which saw 4,701,117 pounds of cargo shipped.
The above-mentioned figures are a reflection of the service by scheduled airlines Allegiant, American, Delta, Southwest, United and their regional airline partners and charter airlines Miami Air, Sun Country, Swift Air and XTRAirways. Cargo carriers include Federal Express, Mountain Air Cargo and UPS.
