ATS To Provide Ground Handling For 787 At SAN

Contract with Japan Airlines makes ATS one of the first ground handlers in North America to handle the Dreamliner

Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce that Japan Airlines (JAL) appointed ATS as their ground service provider for ramp and cabin cleaning service at San Diego International Airport (SAN). Launch of inaugural operations for JAL’s newest B787 Dreamliner route took place on December 2, 2012.

This award by JAL in SAN provides ATS with the distinction to be among the first ground service providers in North America to be certified to handle the state of the art composite B787-800.  

ATS President and Chief Executive Officer, Sally Leible, said: “We are proud to execute our first contract with Japan Airlines. Providing services in SAN to Japan Airlines, American Airlines and British Airways, 3 members of the oneworld alliance, is confirmation that ATS provides San Diego with a qualified service provider for the growing international direct market.”
