El Paso International Airport Passes Inspection with Flying Colors
June 01--El Paso International Airport completed its annual Federal Aviation Administration Airport Certification Inspection with no discrepancies.
The three-day inspection is a rigorous review covering all components of an airport's ability to provide a safe operating facility for tenants and the traveling public.
"The results of the FAA inspection illustrate that El Paso International Airport is an example of an airport that does a great job when it comes to safety and self-inspection," said Monica Lombrana, director of El Paso International Airport.
The inspection focused on employee training, training documentation, aircraft rescue and firefighting, aircraft fueling procedures and fuel truck safety, safety during construction, the airport emergency plan, and a thorough airfield evaluation.
