Allegiant on Jan. 14, announced 44 new nonstop routes, including 14 routes to three new cities: Chicago, Boston and Houston.
This major addition to service is driven by Allegiant’s goal of connecting leisure travelers in underserved cities to popular destinations around the country. Most of the 44 new routes are non-competitive, with no other airline providing service between those airports.
“There is a lot of leisure demand for cities that are regional destinations, and this route expansion will address some of that need,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “Also, this growth is about Allegiant being true to our mission as a company. We’re increasing the number of low-cost, affordable travel options for people who may otherwise be priced out of air travel.”
The new seasonal routes to Nashville International Airport (BNA) include:
- Bozeman, Montana via Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) – beginning May 21
- Sioux Falls, South Dakota via Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD) – beginning May 21
- Norfolk, Virginia via Norfolk International Airport (ORF) – beginning May 22
- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania via Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) – beginning May 22
- Peoria, Illinois via General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport (PIA) – beginning June 4
- Tulsa, Oklahoma via Tulsa International Airport (TUL) – beginning June 4
- Fargo, North Dakota via Fargo International Airport (FAR) – beginning June 4
- Flint, Michigan via Bishop International Airport (FNT) – beginning June 5
- Greensboro, North Carolina via Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) – beginning June 5
