Oct. 21, 2019

A JetBlue flight heading north to Nashville with 152 people on board had to make an emergency landing Monday morning at Jacksonville International Airport when the pilot reported a warning light signalling a possible fire.

FlightAware reported that the Airbus took off about 11 a.m. from Fort Lauderdale when it made an 11:45 a.m. detour to Jacksonville due to a cockpit indicator light signaling a fire in the front cargo hold. The plane landed safely at Jacksonville International Airport about noon and was being checked by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, according to Times-Union news partner First Coast News.
