Thomas Cook Airlines Apologizes After Wheelchair Passenger Describes 'Mistreatment'

Among other things, the passenger experienced confusion at the gate as to how she was going to board the plane as she needed a special chair lift.

A wheelchair user returning to the United Kingdom from a vacation in Turkey with her partner claims she was yelled at and "disgusted" at treatment by Thomas Cook Airlines employees, and the airline has apologized. 

In a Facebook post, Jolene Duggleby wrote of the experience on her flight from Dalaman Airport to Newcastle International Airport: "I have never been so upset and disgusted by the way a company and its staff are allowed to operate. What was an amazing holiday was ruined by the whole return journey experience."
