Unique Aerospace Physiology and Human Performance Update Course to be Provided at Heli-Expo 2019

Jan. 18, 2019
This year’s class will be taught on Sunday 3 March 2019.

Once again, a vital, one of a kind lifesaving course on aerospace physiology for helicopter operators will be offered at this year’s Heli-Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. This year’s class will be taught on Sunday 3 March 2019. The course, taught by one of the industry’s leading subject matter experts, Dr. Dudley Crosson, will focus on the latest research and developments on some old, some not-so-old, and in many cases very miss-understood topics that over the years have led to numerous helicopter accidents and pilot’s deaths. The course looks at current topics from an operational perspective. Subjects include the deadly side effects of fatigue and sleep deprivation, the dangerous and negative impact of Energy Drinks on flight crews, how stress can destroy a pilots decision making process, and finally the inner-workings and physiology behind Spatial Disorientation. To register for this course or any of the other great courses offered at this year’s Heli-Expo, go to http://heliexpo.rotor.org and click on the Education Tab, then Professional Education.
