PART Performs Heavy Maintenance for Chilean Air Force

The Chilean Air Force's B737-500 Presidential aircraft arrived at Pacific Aerospace Resources & Technologies (PART) in early January for a C-Check. Later this year, two more Latin American presidential aircraft will be visiting PART's facilities for maintenance.

The Chilean Air Force’s B737-500 Presidential aircraft arrived at Pacific Aerospace Resources & Technologies (PART) in early January for a C-Check. According to executives David Green and Janet Vincent, PART previously performed heavy maintenance for the Chileans in February 2012. An additional high-profile Latin American presidential aircraft is undergoing a C-Check involving interior refurbishments, complete IFE upgrades and various avionic upgrades. Later this year, two more Latin American presidential aircraft will be visiting PART’s facilities for maintenance.

PART, an ARC Aerospace Industries Company and Boeing Gold Care Provider, is located in Victorville, California.  PART provides Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul services for Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and other leading manufacturers.  Their hangar space exceeds 300,000 square feet and services include heavy maintenance, structural and avionics modifications, engine and landing gear removal/installations, cabin interior reconfigurations, winglet installations, aircraft parking, storage and reactivation, as well as AOG field team support.  Additional in-house capabilities include a composite repair shop, accessory shop and level 3 NDT services.
