Delta TechOps MRO and Hawaiian Airlines Agree to 5-Year Deal to Include Airbus A330 ‘C Checks’

Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul unit also establishes Airbus ‘Center of Excellence’

ATLANTA, March 17, 2015 – Delta TechOps, Delta Air Lines’ maintenance division and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider business, is strengthening its long-standing relationship with Hawaiian Airlines to a new 5-year agreement. This new agreement is to provide MRO services that include comprehensive, long-term heavy maintenance support for Hawaiian’s Airbus A330 fleet which currently stands at 20 aircraft, growing to 22 aircraft by the end of 2015. Additionally, Delta TechOps won the contract to perform two lease return C checks for Hawaiian’s Boeing 767 in 2015 at its Atlanta aircraft maintenance facility.

Delta TechOps is committed to building out its Minneapolis/St. Paul facility as the premier A330 center of excellence in North America as Delta Air Lines increases its A330 fleet and supports Hawaiian’s A330 fleet. Delta TechOps will add 70 new MRO service technicians and expand Airbus component capabilities at the EASA-certified repair station.
