July 23, 2018 – Coming soon to EAA AirVenture 2018, Oshkosh, Wis.Scheme Designers will be busy again at AirVenture 2018. In addition to greeting existing customers and long-time friends and family, Scheme Designers will again be showcasing the 13,000 custom paint schemes completed on hundreds of makes & models of aircraft at their booth in Hangar C, Booth 3056.
Additionally, Scheme Designers is looking forward to the following highlights in Oshkosh this year:
The 10,000th RV to Carry Custom Paint Scheme by Scheme Designers
This year, Vans Aircraft celebrates the 10,000th RV completed and flown. This milestone aircraft will be on display at the homebuilt area, along with other featured RVs. Due to the popularity of Scheme Designers custom livery among RV builders and owners, and the expertise and creativity of Scheme Designers and their professional designers, Vans Aircraft has awarded David Porter, the builder of the 10,000thRV with the design of custom livery for his aircraft.
The popularity of the RV family of kits is illustrated by the over 350 number of RVs sporting Scheme Designers livery in 10 countries.
2018 One Week Wonder to Sport Scheme Designers Livery
EAA is bringing the hugely popular One Week Wonder project back to AirVenture in 2018, and this year, the aircraft being built, in just 7 days, will be a Van’s RV-12iS. As with the 2014 project, Scheme Designers has again been chosen to provide a selection of paint schemes specially designed for the project by Scheme Designers. AirVenture visitors and One Week Wonder participants will have the opportunity to cast a vote for their favorite scheme in the One Week Wonder build area.
