December 15, 2014; ORBIT Communication Systems, Ltd.; a leading provider of mission-critical communication solutions for Land, Sea and Air Platforms; announced that its wholly owned subsidiary ORBIT Communication Systems Inc, has been awarded a contract to supply the Orion™, its new airborne communication management system, to the Boeing Company.
Orion™ is an innovative IP based communication management system, built to support various network-based communication products and applications for airborne platforms such as helicopters, commercial airliners, mission aircrafts and fighters.
Ofer Greenberger, ORBIT's CEO, stated that "we are proud to receive this contract from a world leader like Boeing. This contract positions the Orion™ as the most advanced and versatile communication management system currently available".
