Polydamp Hydrophobic Melamine Foam [PHM] is an ideal lightweight acoustical and thermal insulation product for aircraft, military, transportation, marine, and power generation applications where resistance to water penetration and retention, low flame propagation and minimal smoke generation are requirements. PHM provides excellent acoustical absorption and thermal conductivity values at a relatively low density (0.59 lbs/ft3 on average).
