Exit Lane Technology

Nov. 12, 2014

Eagle Security Group Inc. (ESG) knows the challenges airports face today maintaining exit lanes, security checkpoints, SIDA (Security Identification Display Areas) and AOA (Air Operations Areas) secure areas. Up until now, security for the exit lanes, SIDA and AOA locations has been provided by one or more security guards positioned at each location to monitor passageway activity. The Eagle Access Control Systems were designed to function as unmanned stand-alone systems that successfully prevent the passing of non-authorized persons or dangerous/prohibited items into the secured area of a terminal from the non-secured areas, at all times. Eagle Access Control Systems provide the highest degree of security integrity to shield the secured areas of a terminal from any attempted breach of security, and in turn, afford easy return on investment and redistribution of security resources for other airport operations. The Eagle secure access portal provides airports with the opportunity to eliminate 24/7 stationary guard personnel to monitor sterile to non-sterile exits. The Eagle Exit Lane Access Control System (ELBCS) has a built in anti-pass-back and foreign object detection system. It can successfully prevent the passing of non-authorized persons or any threat-related items from entering the secured side of the airport. It also provides a high degree of security integrity to shield the secured areas of a terminal from any attempted breach of security by forming a wall of steel and bullet-resistant glass.
