The Intelligent Baggage Messaging System (IBMS) is a system that receives, translates, stores, redirects, monitors and processes baggage information from any number and type of baggage message sources independent of the transport medium and through an extremely flexible design is able to display and process this information in a manner suitable for any number of baggage applications enabling airport operations, security personnel, and airline staff to monitor and act upon real-time data for operational and security uses as well as historical data to identify trends and metrics, security and reporting purposes.
