Elliott Aviation celebrates its 75th anniversary with the announcement of its 75th installation of Garmin’s G1000 flat-panel integrated cockpit display in a King Air aircraft. Elliott has completed half of all worldwide G1000s retrofits installed in King Air C90A/B/GT, 200/B200 and 300/350 aircraft to date, and its Moline, Il, (MLI) and Des Moines, IA (DSM) facilities rank first and second, respectively, for G1000 installations in King Airs, making this the most successful avionics retrofit program ever. It has completed 65 G1000 modifications at its ISO 9001- and AS9100-certified headquarters facility at MLI, which also features complete interior design, fabrication and refurbishment and the most sophisticated aftermarket paint facility in the industry, enabling King Air owners to completely transform their aircraft into “like new” condition with minimal downtime.
