Maintenance offerings

Nov. 14, 2012

Jet Aviation recently expanded its maintenance capability at its newly acquired FBO at Houston’s Hobby Airport. In addition, Jet Aviation expanded its ramp at the FBO in Dallas at Love Field by 48,000 square feet, bringing the total facility size to more than 250,000 square feet. The company hired technicians with large-cabin experience, added tooling, and purchased equipment to support Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Falcon aircraft operators. In addition to providing line support including AOG and due items, Houston is expanding into small to medium inspections for base and transient clients. Maintenance is performed in a 30,000-square-foot dedicated hangar, and seven A&P technicians – with a combined total of 176 years of experience – are on staff. In Dallas, the newly reinforced concrete ramp and added space allows Jet Aviation to handle larger aircraft, up to the size of a Boeing 757. The operation has a partnership with Southwest Airlines to utilize their air stairs, belt loaders and equipment for handling larger aircraft. For more information visit www.jetaviation.com.
