Portable Welder

Product From Victor Technologies

Victor Technologies offers the Fabricator 211i, a fully integrated MIG-Stick-TIG inverter welding system that weighs 57.3 pounds and offers the flexibility of using either 115 or 208/230v AC single-phase primary power, 50 or 60 Hz. It delivers a welding range of 5 to 150 amps on 115v AC and 5 to 210 amps on 230v AC. To switch voltages, simply connect the 115V/20A power adaptor “pigtail” supplied with the system. The welder also performs well when connected to generator power. Featuring power factor correction (PFC), it draws 22 percent less primary current than competitive MIG welders, is less likely to trip circuit breakers, can provide full rated output on a 30-amp/230V circuit, and reduces utility bills because it uses energy more efficiently. Tungsten electrodes

Product From Weldcraft

Weldcraft has expanded its premium tungsten electrode offering to include 2 percent lanthanated and zirconiated tungsten electrodes. The 2 percent lanthanated tungsten electrodes provide similar characteristics as the 1.5 percent lanthanated tungsten electrode, but with improved arc starting and stability, and less tip erosion. They are also a good substitute for 2 percent thoriated tungsten electrodes. The zirconiated tungsten electrodes resist spitting in higher current applications, minimizing the opportunity for tungsten contamination. These electrodes also provide excellent arc starts and stability, and ball up easily in AC applications, ensuring a smooth arc. Weldcraft offers all of its tungsten electrodes in 7-inch lengths and in five industry-standard diameters (0.040-, 1/16-, 3/32-, 1/8- and 5/32-inch). Auto-darkening welding helmets

Product From Victor Technologies

The Tweco WeldSkill auto-darkening welding helmet features four sensors for enhanced performance at an affordable price. It can be used in both weld mode and grind mode and will darken when TIG welding even at 5 amps. The helmet has a large viewing area of 3.86 inches by 1.69 inches, weighs 16 ounces, and uses solar power to eliminate the need to change batteries. When switching from light-to-dark, it darkens in 33 microseconds. When switching from dark-to-light, users can select from three switching speeds: short (0.25s to 0.35s), medium (0.35s to 0.50s), and long (0.50s to 0.80). The helmet passes every one of the 49 tests required under the ANSI Z87.1-2010 standards. It has sensitivity and delay knobs on the outside of the helmet shell so that operators can make adjustments while welding. A recessed lens design prevents scratches. For more information, visit
