SITA's Mobile Workforce solution enables airlines, airports and all airport-based service providers to cost effectively mobilize their business processes.

In partnership with Motorola Inc, the experts in rugged hand-held devices, SITA is offering the ATI a unique solution, incorporating mobile devices in a managed services business model. SITA's Mobile Workforce solution pairs middleware components and wireless connectivity with Motorola handheld devices, and can enable duty managers to perform up to five aircraft turnarounds simultaneously.

Thanks to our shared service platform, which can reach out to more than 250 airports where SITA infrastructure is already in place, we provide reliable data communication and managed devices to efficiently bridge mobile workers and devices with back-end systems and business applications.

This helps airlines and other airport-based tenants to reduce business costs, automate workflow management and improve staff flexibility, better manage disruption and improve customer service.

Based on SITA's partnership with Appear Networks, whose enterprise platform is already deployed for more than 10,000 mobile workers in the ATI, Mobile Workforce enables real-time location tracking through global airport wireless connectivity.
