WP-50 TIG torch

To improve TIG welding performance on precision applications and limited-access joints, Weldcraft offers its patented WP-50 air-cooled torch. It is rated at 60-percent duty cycle up to 50 amps and offers pen-like control in tight quarters and on paper-thin material. Applications include precision work in the aircraft and aerospace industries, artistic metalworking, and any welding application dealing with extremely thin base metals. The miniature torch head is only 5/8 inch long and 3/8 inch in diameter. Available with 70- and/or 180-degree head configurations, it is extremely maneuverable even in the tightest of spaces. The torch is only 8 1/2 inches long and 3/4-inch in diameter at its widest point. Compatible tungsten sizes include .020-, .040- and 1/16-inch diameters. It can be ordered with either a 12.5- or 25-foot power cable, and is available with a built-in gas control valve for use with power sources that do not feature solenoid valves.
