L.S. Starrett 795/796 electronic micrometers

The L.S. Starrett Company offers the 795 and 796 Series of electronic micrometers. They combine Starrett precision and reliability with IP67 level protection from the foreign matter often present in hostile shop environments. In addition to being coolant and water resistant, they offer excellent protection against chips, dirt, dust, and other contaminants. Features include extra large, .275 inch (7 mm), high-contrast LCD digital readout; push-button zero at any position, retain/return to true zero reading of the micrometer; and instant inch/millimeter conversion, measurement HOLD button. They have 0.00005-inch and 0.001 mm resolution and accuracies of ±.0001 inch (±.002mm). The 795 micrometer includes RS232 data transmission output port through conventional wire or via Starrett DataSure wireless data collection system. Designed for comfort and accuracy with tapered and balanced insulated frame, Starrett no-glare satin chrome finish on thimble and sleeve, micro-lapped carbide measuring faces, and an extremely hard and stable one-piece spindle. Both friction shell and ratchet stop/speeder versions will be offered with spindle locks. They include two CR2032 batteries for dependable power and over one-year™s normal usage.
