The Hutchins 8970 random orbit sander is designed for industrial and high-production applications where high performance sanding and dust containment is required. With a revolutionary motor design, the 8970 delivers ultra high-speed sanding with legendary Hutchins balance and durability. Designed with a noncaptive orbit, it delivers up to 30 percent more sanding performance and 50 percent faster operating speed than conventional sanders. The orbit sander featurers 6-inch disc, 13,000 rpm speed, 8.5 cfm air consumption at 90 psi, and weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces. It has optional dust collection bags for ultra fine dust filtration.
